Introduction

The Association for the Development of Tierra de Lara, based on the visigothic iconography of Quintanilla de las Viñas used in the chapel, with the intention of promoting and spreading the culture and history of our land and Norway and, therefore, bringing life to one of the most depopulated zones in our province, has created this project of the Spanish Way of Saint Olav as a cultural, sport and religious route, which starts at Burgos Cathedral, in the heart of the Way of Saint James, leaves Burgos along a green road, joins an old Roman road that crossed Tierra de Lara to reach the village of Covarrubias, pointing out those places to visit, fountains, accommodation, safe-conduct stamping, etc.
